Postage and Collection
Please not postal orders for brownies and cookies will be sent through Royal Mail on Fridays. You will receive tracking information with your order confirmation.
Collection days and times for Brownies and Cookies orders are on Wednesdays between 3pm and 4pm.
All orders will be noted with a BBE date.
Cookies and Brownies are cheaper if bought from me directly through Facebook or Instagram.
BROWNIES;
Brownies will last between 4 to 7 days, wrapped and in an airtight container in the Fridge. They become slightly firmer but still delicious.
Keeping them wrapped and in an airtight container in an ambient room will last between 4 to 5 days.
And again these can be frozen (wrapped and in an airtight container) for up to 3 months.
COOKIES;
Cookies will last between 3 to 5 days (wrapped and in an airtight container), However they will harden slightly over time.
Cookies can actually be frozen! They will last in the freezer up to 3 months (wrapped and in an airtight container)
- General Terms
1.1 By placing an order with Rachael Sells Cakes, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions governing the shipment of brownies and cookies via Royal Mail. You will be given tracking information.
1.2 The Customer must ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Royal Mail guidelines when sending food items, including brownies and cookies, through the postal service.
1.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that violate these terms and conditions.
- Product Information and Packaging
2.1 The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the brownies and cookies being sent, including any dietary restrictions, allergens, or special instructions.
2.2 The Customer must ensure that the brownies and cookies are appropriately packaged to maintain their quality and freshness during transit. This includes using suitable food-grade packaging materials, protective cushioning, and secure sealing.
2.3 We recommend informing the recipient to refrigerate or consume the brownies and cookies promptly upon receipt to maintain their taste and quality.
- Shipping and Delivery
3.1 We will endeavour to ship the brownies and cookies promptly after receiving the order. However, delivery times may vary depending on Royal Mail schedule and service.
3.2 The Customer acknowledges that factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or unforeseen delays in the postal service, may affect the timely delivery of the brownies and cookies.
3.3 We are not liable for any delays, damage, loss, or theft that may occur during transit. Once the package is handed over to Royal Mail, the responsibility for the shipment transfers to them.
3.4 The Customer must provide accurate delivery information, including the recipient's name, address, and contact details. We are not responsible for delivery failures resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Customer.
- Quality and Satisfaction
4.1 We take utmost care in preparing and packaging the brownies and cookies to ensure their quality and freshness. However, as these are perishable food items, we cannot guarantee their condition after delivery. A few crumbs and broken edges may occur but we can assure the taste will still be amazing!
4.2 In the event that the brownies and cookies arrive in unsatisfactory condition due to a mistake or fault on our part, we may, at our discretion, offer a replacement or refund. The Customer must notify us within 1 days of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the issue.
4.3 We are not responsible for any dissatisfaction arising from factors beyond our control, such as taste preferences, allergies, or dietary restrictions of the recipient.
- Liability and Indemnification
5.1 The Customer assumes all risks associated with sending brownies and cookies via Royal Mail, including any damage, loss, or spoilage that may occur during transit.
5.2 The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the shipment, delivery, or consumption of the brownies and cookies.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
6.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the UK.
6.2 Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
